Pack your bags for an epic adventure through the Arctic! Today, we’ll transit in Amsterdam—clear immigration, check in, and enjoy a night in this vibrant city before we embark on the northernmost leg of our journey. Who knew a pit stop could be this stylish?
Fly into Reykjavik, Iceland’s capital, and feel the cool breeze of the Arctic Circle greet you. After a quick check-in, we journey on to Stykkishólmur, a tiny, charming town on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula—population: 1,200. This is the start of Iceland’s wild beauty, and it’s all yours to explore.
Rise and shine early for an unforgettable day along Iceland’s West Coast. Explore Arnarstapi’s mesmerizing lava formations, home to a thriving Arctic Tern colony. Then, sit down for a scenic lunch at Stykkishólmur Bay, surrounded by islands and old houses that look like they’ve stepped out of a fairy tale.
The road leads us northward to the Vatnsnes Peninsula, where the legendary Hvitserkur rock formation stands like a giant troll frozen in time. On a clear day, icebergs from East Greenland float by, giving you a glimpse of the wilderness ahead. By evening, we’ll reach Akureyri, Iceland's second-largest city, for dinner and a cozy night.
Get ready for a day of natural wonders! Visit Godafoss, the "Waterfall of the Gods," then head to the Lake Myvatn geothermal area for a warm dip in its healing waters. Don’t miss the mighty Dettifoss—Europe’s most powerful waterfall! After a day of exploration, return to Akureyri for a relaxing evening in the city center.
Catch a flight to Reykjavik, then dive into Iceland’s Golden Circle—the Geysir geothermal area, where Strokkur erupts like clockwork, and the majestic Gullfoss waterfall. Next, visit the stunning Kerid Crater with its vibrant blue lake. After a packed day, we’ll head back to Reykjavik and prep for our next stop: Greenland.
Brace yourself for a dramatic shift in landscapes! Fly to Ilulissat, Greenland, located north of the Arctic Circle, where the midnight sun never sets. After arriving, we’ll visit a local family home for coffee, cake, and tales of life in this remote town. Later, witness the awe-inspiring sight of dog sledding as you join in feeding the huskies. It’s an introduction to the wild beauty of Greenland!
Venture into the Sermermiut Settlement, a UNESCO World Heritage site where ancient Inuit cultures once thrived. Touch the permafrost, explore the ruins of turf huts, and hear stories of the Inuit’s traditional ways of life. The atmosphere here is hauntingly beautiful and steeped in history. Return to Ilulissat for a quiet evening
Prepare for a jaw-dropping experience as we visit the Ilulissat Ice Fjord, a massive glacier that seems to stretch on forever. After a serene walk along the wooden pathways, we’ll board a boat for a magical midnight sun cruise among the floating icebergs. Trust us—this will be a night you’ll never forget!
After an unforgettable Greenlandic adventure, we’ll fly back to Reykjavik. Check into your hotel and enjoy a leisurely city tour. Reykjavik is quirky, cool, and full of surprises—perfect for an evening stroll
We’ll head to Keflavik Airport for the journey home. Reflect on your journey through Iceland and Greenland, two lands at the top of the world where the magic of the north stays with you long after you’ve returned.
