Moderate to high for the Tongariro Crossing (19.4 km, 7–8 hours). All other days are easier. If you prefer to skip Tongariro, alternative options are available.
When is the best time to visit?
November to March is summer — warm days (20–28°C), long daylight, ideal for hiking and outdoor activities. We avoid the colder winter months.
Is bungee jumping included?
Optional activities in Queenstown (bungee, skydiving, jet boat) are at your own cost. We build in a free day so you can choose your own adventure.
Can I extend in Queenstown?
Yes — many travellers add 2–3 extra nights. We can arrange accommodation and activities.
Do I need a visa?
Most nationalities can visit visa-free with a New Zealand ETA. We provide guidance after booking.
